| ROLL UP SESSIONS FOR SUMMER SEASON The following roll ups are planned for this summer starting during week beginning 8th June: WEDNESDAY MORNING 11.30 – 13.30 ACCUMULATOR (Moved from Thursday morning as the club is now closed on Thursdays). Anyone can come along. Players will be put into teams of Australian Pairs or Triples dependent on numbers in the same way as before the last lockdown. Score cards MUST be filled in with all names and handed into reception at the end of all games. This is for ‘Track & Trace’ and also to keep weekly ongoing scores, which will be posted on the board. Bowls clothes should be worn. WEDNESDAY EVENING 18.30 – 20.30 OPEN ROLL UP This will be a fairly relaxed roll up open to ALL members similar to the old Saturday evening. Dress code is smart casual and there will be music. Players will be able to choose Australian Pairs or Triples but will have to fill in score cards and hand them in for ‘Track & Trace’ requirements. FRIDAY EVENING 18.30 – 20.30 FLEDGLINGS (This has moved from Wednesday evening) Aimed predominantly at newer players (but open to all, especially those who would like to support and encourage our newer players offering them the opportunity to play with more experienced club members). Games will be Pairs or Triples dependent on numbers in the same way as before the last lockdown. Games will be played in 2 sets of 6 ends. If playing a game of Pairs, the lead and skip must change positions after the first set, if Triples, the skip must change for the second set. Score cards MUST be filled in with all names and handed in. Weekly ongoing scores will be kept and posted on the board. Bowls clothes should be worn. |
