Jacks Are Back

Saturday 7 August – Jacks Are Back Evening 

37 members took part in our August Roll-Up Saturday evening which was an informal fun event celebrating our being allowed to roll jacks again after 483 days during which jack-rolling was banned due to the Covid-related restrictions.  

We had a special bowls game using 2 jacks on the rinks, a jack-rolling Quiz and also a jack-rolling competition. Thanks to everyone came along and also to those who helped out on the evening to make the event a success, including our special celebrities Jacquie Rayner and Jack Mathie who performed the ceremonial rolling of the first Jacks!
